How this works
The same governance we’d apply to your AI rollout.
- Cached system prompt. The full RAG context (our services, vendors, compliance frameworks, metro coverage) ships as one cached prompt. Every call after the first within 5 minutes is a cache hit — much cheaper than re-sending the context. Same pattern your business should use for any RAG app over a stable knowledge base.
- Guardrails as system instructions. The model is explicitly told never to quote prices, never to invent clients, never to give binding compliance advice. If you ask it a question outside its lane, it tells you and points to the right human path.
- No PII persistence. Conversation history lives only in your browser tab. Closing it clears the transcript. Anthropic API logs follow their standard retention; nothing custom on our side stores chats.
- Honest fallback. If the AI service is unavailable (no API key configured, upstream throttle), the UI degrades to a clear error with a contact link — never a hallucinated response.
